In July 2012 I am planning my third Umbria tour with Antonella of An Italian Affair.
What is drawing me there? Is it its beauty, its mysterious medieval architecture, the wonderful food, the rambling olive groves and vineyards, the melodic language?
Yes, all of these things, but most of all the people. People like Antonella, Daniela, Roberta, Dr Rodney Lokaj and Biagio, who with their love of, the enthusiasm for, attachment to, and knowledge of that mysteriously beautiful and spiritual place, infected me with a passion for their land, its history and culture. It is through them, with them and by their passion that I am drawn and beckoned to their beloved Umbria
